All Church Work Day is being planned for Saturday, May 18 beginning at 9 a.m. The Trustees have compiled a to-do list of projects. So plan to be here to help us get the job done!
May 12 is Mother’s Day and Youth Sunday. Along with honoring our moms, we will be acknowledging the youth of Mt. Hope. All those who wish to participate in Youth Sunday are asked to meet in the sanctuary at 9:30.
Come bike with us — bring your bike to Nankin Mills on Hines Drive, Saturday at 10:00am!
Mother’s Day ~ Father’s Day Baby Bottle Campaign for AAA Pregnancy Resource Center
AAA Pregnancy Resource Center in Livonia has been helping families for almost 40 years.
They provide many free services, including pregnancy tests & ultrasounds. AAAPRC shares
God’s truth with young moms and helps them to understand God’s plan for their life and their
baby. Please stop on your way out today and pick up a baby bottle to take to your home or
office. Then, do your best to fill the bottle up over the next few weeks with spare change, bills or
checks (made out to AAAPRC) and bring the bottle back on Father’s Day! Please bring it back
even if it’s just ½ full ~ every little bit helps. Empty ones should also be returned so that AAA
PRC will not have to replace them. Get the kids involved – search the van, under the couch
cushions, the bottom of Mom’s purse, the top of Dad’s dresser, raid the piggy bank! Have fun!
It may not seem like much, but these coins add up and they all make a difference . . . for LIFE!!!
The Mt. Hope Literary and Chocolate Pie Society is exactly that — a group of book-lovers who also love pie! This group meets together on the first Tuesday of every month to enjoy desserts while talking about a recently read novel.
This month’s novel is Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet by Ford. We’ll meet on May 7th at 6:00 p.m. Please sign up on the involvement board if you can lead the discussion, bring dinner, bring drinks, or bring dessert.
