Welcome to Mt. Hope Congregational Church, where faith, hope, and love meet!
We know your visit today is via the internet, but even so we appreciate you being with us.
I’d like to extend an invitation to you all for the September Community event on September 21st at 7pm. We will be having a movie night where we watch the movie “Courageous.” Please bring your favorite snack and beverage, and we will look forward to some fun fellowship and discussion following the movie. If you’ll be able to come, please let Jeff or Sara know!
Clergy in Livonia are on a campaign to save and strengthen community marriages. Joining with other churches in our city, we are seeking one or two couples from each congregation to be trained as “mentors” to couples about to marry. The training will begin on Friday, November 15 and continue through Saturday, November 16. If you would be interested in taking part in this ministry as a mentor couple – a ministry that will impact families for decades to come, please talk to Pastor Schafer today.
PBJ Outreach to Detroit’s homeless (Sat, Sept 14, 7:30 am)
Join us to distribute clothes to Detroit’s homeless population!
Join Mt. Hope for its annual fall kick-off dubbed “Rally Day”! We celebrate the start of the new year of programs and events with a special service and an old-fashioned picnic afterward.
Please note that the service times will change to 10:30 am starting September 8th (9:30 am for Sunday School).
Join the Mt. Hope Literary and Chocolate Pie Society for a discussion of a book and a yummy dessert. The Society meets at 6:00pm on the first Tuesday of every month.
