Welcome to Mt. Hope Congregational Church, where faith, hope, and love meet!
We know your visit today is via the internet, but even so we appreciate you being with us.
August 7 – 11, 2017
Sign up on the VBS bulletin board or register online!
Step back in time with the Apostle Paul and experience what life was like in first-century Rome! Explore a crowded Roman marketplace, tiptoe past watchful Roman guards, encourage first-century Christians who meet in a dark cave, race chariots, and visit Paul for daily discoveries about God’s love.
Our week-long VBS is FREE for community children grades pre-K through 5th grade. It includes a whirlwind of activites such as sports, music, crafts, storytelling, and even a “store” where kids get free toys every day.
Kids are signed in at 9:15 am and are picked up every day at 12:15 pm.
Come be a prayer warrior and join our dedicated team that lifts up the church, its people, and the community in regular prayer!
Meets after church on select Sundays in the church library for about 15 minutes.
Every parent needs a break this summer and every kid wants to get out of the house and do something fun — and Mt. Hope Church is here to help with that!
Every Wednesday in July and August (except August 9th), Mt. Hope Church will host a FREE “lunch and play” at our gym. As a free service outreach to the community, we will serve free lunches to kids and give them some time to socialize and play together.
We have an outside playground for when it is sunny and an indoor gym for when it’s rainy or too hot. Kids can jump on our bounce house, take advantage of complementary squirt guns, draw on the sidewalk with chalk, make bubbles, and enter a free weekly raffle for a big fun prize.
We ask that parents remain with their children for safety reasons (i.e. don’t drop off your kids and leave the property!). We’ll be toting out some camping chairs for parents’ comfort too!
If there are special dietary needs, let us know and we will see what we can do. We will not be using peanuts or peanut butter in our preparation.
